More toys == more intelligent?

I'm now the "Enriching the brain" book that I talked about in yesterday's post. Unless you are interested to know exactly why our brain can be enriched and not only determined at birth, or you wanna know how to measure intelligence, you can pretty much skip the first 2 chapters. So I'm on chapter 3 which starts to be more interesting. It says rats living in a cage with more toys have thicker cortex (i take it as more intelligent) than those with less toys. The thought that I immediately came up is...... maybe i should put more toys in the playground for baby R to play. And the next action.. I did put more toys. haha...

I think I've mentioned in the blog previously that I'm blessed baby R has been a good baby so far (sleep well and eat well) which gives me time and energy to do other stuff that I want to do. I even think I'm spoiled after hearing some horrible stories from others!! I hope he will continue to be this way.
