Decluttering

I have to admit that I'm not a neat person. When going through some crafts blogs, people would take a picture of their workspace and post it in the blog. Usually they claim how messy it is, but I guess most of the cases, it's nothing compared to mine. :P I have so much stuff on my desk that I couldn't see the wood part because it's all covered. I'm not proud of it, but somehow I manage to find stuff that I want, so I can live with that.

Then I found a TV show accidentally called "Enough Already". It's hosted by Peter Walsh, an organizational expert. It talks about how Peter helps families to declutter and have their space back. Even I'm nowhere near to the situations that's shown on the show but after watching this, I'm so motivated to declutter!! And also, after visiting C's home (yes.. C, it's not just a crop date!), I find my home is soooooo messy!

As the first step, I cleaned up my desk!! see how long it will last. :)

  1. Heehee, nice. When I work, I dump all stuff out and make a huge mess. But I keep forcing myself these days to put everything away when done. I find for craft items, it is not just putting things away neatly, but organize them in a manner that is logical and easy to take things out and convenient to put back afterwards.
