GOOD:
1. It's MARTHA STEWART!! Anything with MS seems better. :D Sorry about the bias.
2. The packaging is very compact. it's basically a circle thingy with a few blades. I saw some circle cutters are a set of circles that you can run through depends on which size you wanna cut.
3. It has an increment of 1/16", so you can cut 2 circles and make it very close together in terms of size and it will look very nice
4. the "blade protector" looks so cool. it's like a ping pong paddle. :P
BAD: - it's not the easiest tool to use it well.
1. The idea is to put the blade in the hole and you run a circle around it. Maybe I'm still not quite used to it, the blade could come off the hole easily or it got stuck that it doesn't move very smoothly. And you know how it looks like if you cut it the second time... it doesn't end up the same path, so you will have an irregular circle
2. not sure it's the skills issue too. i find it very hard to cut thicker paper.
3. cannot use a small scrap paper for this tool, because the paper needs to be as big as the diameter of the circle cutter, otherwise the paper will be moving and you know what's gonna happen.
my advice would be try a few times with any paper that you don't want just to get used to it.
