This year, we've decided we're just staying home for my hubby's bday dinner. It turns out that it's pretty good. We made steak with mushroom sauce (that's the dish that I learned from watching food network) :) and then we have bday cake... made by me!! I used cream cheese frosting instead of the buttercream frosting that i've learned from the course. When I was making it, i was so worried because it was so runny. it's literally drooping on the side of the cake. Luckily it set in the fridge after a few hours. It turns out that it's pretty good... if you are not looking the cake-in-progress. :P
