Had a mommy gathering yesterday with a friend who has a lovely daughter. It's interesting to see so much difference between her daughter and baby R. She is very happy to lie in the playpen and suck fingers, whereas Ryan doesn't like to lie down with his back against the floor anymore. I don't know if it's because of the gender. :)
Anyway, I have a day off today!! In order for baby R to get used to his "daycare" (i.e. his grandparents) after I go back to work, today is a trial day. That also means a day off for me!! Perhaps I was so excited about this day off, I was so happy that I couldn't sleep well last nite, just like the night before school picnic! haha. Half a day has passed... see what I've done:
- watch Shutter Island . Good movie!
- pick the first 6 months photos for my scrapbook (don't underestimate this, it takes A LOT of time!)
- made lunch
- vacuum
- now writing blog
Haven't decided what to do next. Maybe more craft stuff?
Good job on selecting the photos for the scrapbook. That is not an easy task for sure. Sounds like you have a very productive day indeed.
