Meals in minutes

I've been watching Jamie Oliver's Meals In Minutes program on food network. The idea is to finish preparing a meal in 30 minutes. Sometimes I think it's not quite possible because the cooking part usually doesn't take very long but the preparation needs time, e.g. washing the veggie, cutting the meat. But anyway, it gives you an idea that a great meal can be prepared just in 30 minutes and it's sort of encouraging people to cook.

My version of "Meals in minutes" today is whole wheat spaghetti with shrimps and prosciutto. I got this recipe from one of Rachael Ray's book. My modified steps as follows:
1. cook onion and garlic
2. deglaze using white wine
3. put more water in the same pan. And then pasta
4. when the pasta is almost cooked, put the shrimp and prosciutto
5. finish it by adding parmesan cheese

And I
